Responsibilities

Perform data collection, analysis, design, technical studies, and prepare reports associated with drainage and flood control related components for transportation and public works projects
Assist in the engineering calculations, stormwater management, report writing, and GIS analysis

Required

Knowledge or experience with Steady and Unsteady-state HEC-RAS 1D modeling, Bridge/Tidal Scour Analysis and Countermeasure Design, and HEC- HMS (or equivalent)
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
Engineer in Training (EIT)
4-6 years experience in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling
Knowledge of 2-D modeling including the Sedimentation and River Hydraulics (SRH-2D) and HEC-RAS 2D software
MicroStation and AutoCAD experience including knowledge with LiDAR data, surveying, 3-D surfaces, and datum adjustments
Project engineering experience related to performance of water resources, drainage, hydrology and hydraulics design related projects
Knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint
EIT Certification required

Preferred

Master's degree with emphasis in Hydrology/Hydraulics, Water Resources
