They are seeking a Deposits Portfolio Analyst to manage and optimize the performance of their digital bank's deposit portfolio, conducting financial analysis and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Partner with data engineering to establish data needs, reporting framework, and data attributes

Create, analyze, and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reports to evaluate deposit portfolio performance

Assess financial performance metrics, customer behavior, and key drivers impacting deposit levels

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic deposit initiatives

Analyze market and customer deposit trends to identify opportunities and risks

Collaborate with internal teams to interpret trends and develop insights that guide pricing, product design, and customer strategies

Partner closely with Data Engineering, Finance, Treasury, Operations, and other stakeholders to develop accurate forecasts and define performance measurement frameworks

Support enterprise-wide deposit strategy development through clear, data-driven insights

Monitor and manage the overall financial performance of the deposit portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements

Apply strong analytical and financial skills to assess profitability, cost of funds, and portfolio optimization opportunities

Prepare reports for ALCO

Perform pricing and competitor analysis

Work directly with the Treasury team to support liquidity management initiatives

Provide analysis to determine when brokered funding or other liquidity sources may be needed
