Responsibilities
Manage payroll functions, including timekeeping and third-party payroll processing
Maintain and update employee data in the firm’s accounting software
Assist with confidential financial information management
Support month-end financial reporting
Prepare and process invoices
Reconcile monthly balance sheets and bank statements
Act as a backup for accounts payable and receivable processes
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and deadlines
Communicate financial information clearly and professionally
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualification
Required
Associate degree in bookkeeping or accounting
Minimum of two years of relevant experience in payroll
Strong analytical skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong numerical accuracy
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
Self-starter who can work under general supervision
Ability to work efficiently under deadlines
Preferred
Experience with third-party payroll processing
Willingness to take online accounting and/or payroll courses to enhance skills
