Responsibilities

Performing budgetary, management and financial analysis in a policy oriented Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Budget Department

Examines budget estimates

Plans and performs economic and/or financial analysis

Analyzes budgeting and accounting reports for the purpose of maintaining expenditure controls

Provides assistance to STOF departmental staff in matters related to budget automated systems

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Public Administration or similarly related field is required

A minimum of two (2) years of experience implementing, and monitoring department budgets or working in local government budget analysis, accounting or related field is required

Prior knowledge of finance, budget and accounting methods, practices and procedures is required

Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required

Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
