Maintenance Engineer
Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Engineer New Graduate to support the operation and maintenance of the plant’s equipment. This role is part of the Amrize Build4Growth Program, providing foundational knowledge and experience in cement manufacturing through a blended learning approach.

Responsibilities
Practice and promote safety while working with hourly plant positions in such a way as including, but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
The Engineer will work closely with equipment suppliers, plant staff to ensure the successful operation of the plant
Participate in the creation of preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bills of materials (BOMs) for new equipment
Ensure bill of materials (BOMS) and equipment history system match within both electronic and hard copy libraries
Analysis and elimination of repetitive problems through root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, statistical review, FMEA, and similar techniques
Support and guide sustainable improvements in Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of major equipment
Responsible for the process of gathering input and facilitating task completion through others
Research solutions to technical problems
Coordinate SAP system operations in the area of preventative maintenance routine (PMR) optimization and development with maintenance planners
Provide technical support, training, and development for maintenance functions with a specific focus on entrenching reliability concepts within the maintenance group
Be willing to manage various plant improvement projects
Be willing to supervise hourly & contracted employees when necessary
Participate in the maintenance on-call system
Be flexible and willing to work off-shifts when necessary
Other duties as assigned

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
0-3 Years of required work experience
Excel, Word, Project, etc. as required technical skills
Self-starter / initiates action / highly motivated team player
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical team members
Ability to grow with the company into positions of increasing responsibility
Flexible planning and scheduling skills
Demonstrated technical/professional knowledge
Solid decision-making skills
Resourceful and innovative
Strong and effective written and oral communication skills
Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE")
