Raytheon is a leading defense contractor committed to helping the nation and allies defend freedoms. They are seeking an intern Systems Engineer to support integration, verification, and testing for an advanced Missile Defense Radar System.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
Operate our systems, as well as related simulators/stimulators
Identify and resolve issues and anomalies through debugging/troubleshooting and data analysis
Integrate hardware or software into a tactical system, and evaluate the functionality and impact of these changes
Develop documentation, execute plans and procedures, process and analyze data, and communicate results
Communicate with internal and/or external stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Experience testing radar systems, weapons systems, or command and control systems
Experience with data analysis, including the application of scripting or automation using tools such as MATLAB, Python, etc
Proficiency with commonly used test equipment, such as Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc
Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, networks, and communication protocols
Exposure to concepts of radar operations and/or coursework in digital signal processing, algorithm development, electromagnetism, electronics, etc
