Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance is seeking a Regional Support Intern to assist various departments in providing service to KFB members and stakeholders. The intern will gain exposure to claim projects, reporting, and handling procedures while supporting internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Assist answering telephone, directing calls, handling inquiries and providing assistance where appropriate

Refer customer questions to other staff as appropriate

Provide assistance during catastrophes by serving as a catastrophe team member and assisting in the state at field offices as needed

Provide courteous, helpful responses to all requests for assistance

Review and assist with organization of claim data analytics

Report incorrectly rated policies or poor risks to PARM (Underwriting) with the assistance of the supervisor

Attend and participate in company claim meetings, seminars, and other educational opportunities as available

Maintain good relations within the company and with the public

Help run underwriting reports

Help Agency Underwriting Support Field Representatives with maintenance reports

Help work “cleanup” reports such as the Stated Amount report and Multi Vehicle Collision report

Assist with Field Facing Team meetings and agent action plans

Obtain a strong working knowledge of any company analytic tools necessary for measuring agency and agent performance

Meet regularly with the field facing teams (KFB and Federation) to discuss each county

Produce, maintain and forward to supervisor, accurate assessment reports from each visit with agency force in their assigned counties

Regular, predictable attendance as employee has to physically be in the office
