New Grad, Entry LevelSysco is a leading foodservice distributor, and they are seeking a Sanitation Technician to maintain a clean and safe facility/warehouse environment. The role involves performing sanitation tasks, operating warehouse equipment, and following a daily sanitation maintenance program.

Responsibilities
Remove all trash and debris from the warehouse and dock areas
Clean up any spills of product or other foreign matter
Operate power scrubber, sweeper walk behind scrubber and other warehouse equipment
Clean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors, etc
Clean facility building, grounds, lighting, parking lots, etc
Sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker rooms
Follow the daily schedule as assigned by the supervisor to ensure a continuous sanitation maintenance program
Maintain the warehouse in a clean and safe working environment
Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
Previous sanitation experience within a warehouse environment
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear
The employee frequently is required to use hands and fingers with controlled dexterity to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
The employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; reach; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl; and taste/smell
The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Preferred
Previous sanitation experience within a warehouse environment, highly preferred
