They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support engineering teams by maintaining systems' uptime, troubleshooting software issues, and developing documented solutions that encompass both software and hardware.

Responsibilities

Build and support CI/CD systems

Manage containerized environments using Docker and automate deployments

Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure

Set up and maintain VPNs and manage network segregation across subnets

Engage in and improve the full lifecycle of services—from inception and design through deployment and operation

Support database operations, backups, and migration workflows

Maintain observability systems for metrics, logs, and alerts

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

3+ years of experience supporting engineering teams in a fast-paced or startup environment

Ability to troubleshoot hardware problems and perform complex system tests

Ability to develop and maintain accurate documentation for internal procedures and services

Ability to automate solutions to repetitive problems and tasks

Expertise managing cloud services, CI/CD automation, and virtualization in complex environments

Experience building and managing production systems using containerization technologies

Experience with database management

Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed

Ability to work onsite in Seal Beach, CA
