Insurance Adjuster- Bodily Injury Claims
Farm Bureau Financial Services is dedicated to making insurance simple for their client/members. The Insurance Adjuster- Bodily Injury Claims will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims related to casualty insurance, specifically focusing on auto liability and bodily injury claims while maintaining professional relationships with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle assigned claims involving casualty insurance coverage
Handle auto liability investigation and bodily injury claims
Investigate the facts of the loss
Interpret the policy
Determine whether the loss is covered and if our client member is liable
Determine the value of the loss and assist in setting appropriate reserves
Maintain professional and productive relationships with coworkers, supervisors, agents, agency managers, claimants, policyholders, doctors, attorneys, and others
Qualification
Required
College degree or equivalent plus 2 years relevant experience
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Must be PC literate and able to effectively use our systems
A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records
Some travel with overnight stays is required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred
Multi-line field experience (specifically casualty claims experience)
Associate in Claims (AIC), Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA) designation and four parts of the CPCU designation preferred or working towards the designations
Familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
