Responsibilities

Support Home Owned Brand Product Design and Development with direction from design leaders to achieve overall product design strategy and merchant objectives

Maintain a diligent and self-directed approach to workload, and provide accurate and timely communication to internal and external partners

Support the team in product/trend research, trend concepts, product vignettes, color, and design/development of products

Assist the team in preparing product specs, and developing trim, print, and embellishment packages

Translate ideas using CAD/hand sketches, including completing design/technical sketches and professional presentation boards/materials for meetings and vendor partners

Work closely with the Technical Design department to communicate fit and construction details

Required

Four-year degree in Design, Fine Art, or similar area of study, or equivalent experience

1-3 years of experience

Computer design system skills including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

Experience in CAD illustration or 2D/3D software

Interest in AI design skills

Ability to stay aware of Trends and Fashion

Understanding of textiles or raw materials & product production

Experience assimilating product feedback

Ability to research and apply market/trend information

Ability to build strong partnerships in order to successfully work in a team environment
