The Preiss Company is a leader in the ownership and management of multifamily and student housing communities nationwide. They are seeking a Groundskeeper who is responsible for the overall upkeep of property grounds and common areas, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the landscape.

Responsibilities

Keep all buildings and common areas free of debris and trash, including anywhere visible to students and parents

Repair fences, gates, walls, and walkways

Paint fences and outbuildings

Clean out drainage, ditches, and culverts

Perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, etc

Make minor repairs on all maintenance equipment

Notify supervisor of hazardous conditions and safety issues

Assist with inclement weather needs (i.e. floods, snow, ice, etc.)

Qualification

Groundskeeping experienceLandscaping skillsCertified Pool OperatorPhysical staminaCommunication skills

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior grounds-keeping, landscaping or related work experience required

Preferred

Certified Pool Operator designation preferred (if applicable)
