Field Service Technician
AESC US is a global organization focused on sustainable battery solutions and is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician. This role involves overseeing the installation and commissioning of utility-scale energy storage systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while working closely with project teams and customers.

Responsibilities
Serve as the on-site representative during equipment installation and commissioning
Perform installation verification checks to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
Coordinate and execute site commissioning activities for energy storage systems, including functional testing and troubleshooting
Interface with project managers, engineering teams, and customer representatives to resolve technical issues promptly
Document installation and commissioning activities, including test results and punch lists
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all field operations
Provide feedback to engineering and product teams on field performance and installation best practices
Support training for customer personnel on system operation and maintenance
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–5 years of experience in field service, commissioning, or installation of electrical or energy systems; experience with energy storage systems preferred
Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and industrial safety standards
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and commissioning software
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site at customer locations
Preferred
Familiarity with battery energy storage systems (BESS) and renewable energy technologies
Experience with SCADA systems, PLCs, and communication protocols
Knowledge of commissioning procedures for large-scale electrical equipment
