Responsibilities
Work with sales partner(s) to develop territory and account strategies and campaigns
Understand customer requirements as they relate to security architectures across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments
Track and document aspects of the sales cycle including elements that are the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer
Lead Proof of concept/value engagements
Prepare and lead technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work
Secure orders, guarantee product standards and assure product delivery
Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective
Active participant within the greater technical team sharing experience, best practices, etc
Qualification
Required
Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience in real-world cyber security sales and/or consulting
7+ years of experience in the computer networking or security space, ideally in a pre-sales role
Broad understanding of security solutions and technologies
Ability to explain and demonstrate complex product/security solutions both technically and with senior leadership
Superior communication skills including whiteboarding, public speaking and technical writing
Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time with occasional spikes above 50%
Preferred
Operational or sales experiences with SaaS, Identity or Active Directory a plus
