Start in 2026 SummerMasimo is looking for summer interns to join their Human Factors Engineering team, offering a valuable learning experience. The primary responsibility of the Human Factors Engineer intern is to support Engineering and Design on Masimo’s medical device portfolio through formative research activities, collaborating with various teams to develop user-friendly medical devices.

Support in creating, running, and analyzing research activities
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and engineers to understand the goal of a product
Provide actional feedback and results
Work with Human Factors team and other stakeholders to plan next steps
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Factors, Psychology, or other relevant degree or certificate in Usability/User Experience Research
Must be a current university student to qualify as an intern. Alum candidates and students graduating May/June 2026 are not eligible for intern opportunities
Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving ability
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively interface within a cross-functional team environment
Proficiency utilizing the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
