Responsibilities
Provide strategic guidance on Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and security for 24/7 mission-critical operations
Lead the design, deployment, and ongoing management of Azure cloud architecture, including virtual networks, connectivity (VNet peering, VPN/ExpressRoute), security controls, compute platforms, and storage solutions across multiple environments
Develop, document, and enforce Azure cloud governance, standards, and operational procedures to drive consistency, compliance, and reliable production operations
Own large-scale Azure initiatives end-to-end, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver complex cloud migrations, modernizations, and infrastructure rollouts on time and within scope
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in IT/CS (Master's preferred)
5+ years cloud systems engineering including: M365, Rubrik or enterprise backup platforms and Azure AD integration
Strong scripting/automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI)
Experience building DR/backup strategies for hybrid environments
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
MSP experience handling urgent issues and high-volume environments
Highly detail-oriented; disciplined background
Exceptional troubleshooting experience
