Responsibilities
Own the development, validation, and deployment of advanced Machine Learning models, managing dependencies and coordinating with other team members to ensure successful delivery
Design and execute rigorous data-driven research to analyze the impact of various factors on business outcomes
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate ambiguous problems into structured analytical solutions and suggest new initiatives that unlock organizational value
Communicate complex methodologies and findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, acting as a technical leader within the org
Proactively search, identify, and implement improvements to team processes, tooling, and standards
Stay abreast of industry best practices and state-of-the-art methodology in data science
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or a PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
5+ years of experience in data science with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects
Ability to select and apply appropriate advanced data science methodologies to solve complex business problems
Deep expertise in a complex data science domain (e.g. NLP, causal inference) with practical experience applying a range of data science methodologies (e.g., classification, time series analysis, deep learning, etc.)
Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL and experience with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
Experience productionizing machine learning models and familiarity with MLOps concepts
An advocate for clean code principles and engineering best practices
Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business insights for diverse audiences
Exceptional communication, collaboration and mentoring skills
Preferred
Experience in the Real Estate industry or other market-driven domains is a plus
