Aracor is on a mission to build a world-class product that will redefine dealmaking. They are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to own design systems, focusing primarily on frontend work while also contributing to backend features as needed.

Responsibilities

Own the component library and keep it well-documented, consistent, and genuinely useful to the team
Work with designers to establish and maintain design tokens, keeping Figma and code in sync
Implement and uphold accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) across product surfaces
Maintain Storybook as the go-to reference for UI patterns and components
Translate design specs into polished, responsive implementations that feel considered
Contribute to backend work in Python and FastAPI when features call for it
Ship features end-to-end when the situation requires it
Write tests for shared components and encourage good coverage habits
Communicate clearly and thoroughly in writing—we're distributed and async-first, so this matters a lot

Required

four-plus years of experience building web applications with React or Vue (Composition API) and TypeScript
hands-on experience building or maintaining a component library or design system
practical accessibility experience—implementing WCAG in production
comfortable collaborating closely with designers and working in Figma
comfortable enough in Python and FastAPI to contribute backend features and debug across the stack when needed
early-stage experience to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities
strong written communication skills—writing RFCs, PR descriptions, and async updates regularly

Preferred

experience with Storybook
experience with Tailwind
experience with Shadcn
experience with design token tooling
familiarity with trunk-based development and feature flags
exposure to AI-driven product surfaces
