Responsibilities
Administer desktop hardware, handheld devices, software applications, and printing services to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems
Design and develop desktop images, software distribution application packages, and installation scripts
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, handheld devices, and peripheral devices. Support may include work efforts that extend beyond routine business hours
Maintain accurate asset and software licensing inventories for all desktop systems and software
Take technical ownership of assigned desktop products, maintain product security, manage service recovery, and coordinate vendor support
Develop, implement, document, and maintain desktop security standards in line with IT security policies
Create and maintain comprehensive desktop support documentation for internal use and user reference
Provide leadership for desktop engineering projects and initiatives, ensuring timely implementation and optimal performance
Develop and maintain a testing environment to evaluate desktop hardware, operating systems, applications, patches, and security configurations
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Computer Science (CS), or a related field
5+ years of relevant desktop deployment experience
