Human Resources Recruiter/Coordinator
The Institutes of Applied Human Dynamics, Inc. is dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, and they are seeking a dynamic HR Recruiter/Coordinator to join their fast-paced HR team. In this role, you will support recruitment efforts by posting jobs, screening candidates, processing background checks, and tracking new hires.

Responsibilities
Work with hiring managers to support recruitment efforts, including posting internal and external job openings
Post positions on various job boards such as Indeed, Better team and our Paycom ATS
Build and maintain relationships with colleges and universities to support recruitment efforts
Attend job fairs to source active candidates and represent IAHD as well as walk in interviews held at IAHD
Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
Schedule candidates for new hire paperwork, background checks, fingerprinting, and drug testing
Continuously explore and recommend new recruitment sources for active and passive candidates
Maintain and complete new hire application packets, ensuring all forms are filled out and returned on time, including drug testing, fingerprinting, and other mandatory documents
Follow up with new hires and managers to ensure paperwork is complete and employees are cleared to begin work
Create timesheets, submit to payroll, and ensure new hire information is entered into HRIS systems
Create employee ID badges and maintain a photo database, scan new hire packets into the system, and track evaluations
Create a spreadsheet to track evaluations for each department/employee, following up with managers/directors on missing or incorrect evaluations
Assist with special projects and other tasks to ensure the HR department runs smoothly
Qualification
Required
College degree in Human Resources Management or related field
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources required
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and HRIS systems
Must be willing to drive between the Bronx and Westchester County as needed
Must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
Must be fully vaccinated (COVID-19)
