Advocate Supervisor

Responsibilities
Oversee and support Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers
Ensure volunteers are adequately prepared to advocate for the best interests of children involved in the court system
Provide supervision and guidance to volunteers
Monitor the quality of their work
Maintain accurate records
Organize ongoing training sessions
Coordinate communication between relevant parties involved in the child welfare process, including caseworkers, attorneys, and judges
Qualification
Required
Strong team leadership and volunteer supervisory experience
Proficiency in case coordination, case management, and timely record-keeping
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Flexibility to work on-site and manage schedules effectively
Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
Preferred
Knowledge of child welfare systems, legal processes, or social work is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
