Project Manager – HRIS & Workday Strategy (Non-Sponsorship eligible position)

Responsibilities

Lead and govern a portfolio of HRIS initiatives supporting the HR technology roadmap, including Workday module implementations, enhancements, system integrations, and vendor transitions
Translate HR and business strategy into executable project plans that drive standardization, scalability, and long-term value
Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and Finance leaders to prioritize initiatives, manage dependencies, and align resources across multiple programs
Oversee Workday configuration efforts, integrations with third-party systems, data governance, and platform optimization
Manage relationships with external vendors, implementation partners, and system integrators, ensuring accountability and delivery quality
Drive organizational change by leading stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and adoption strategies
Identify and mitigate risks related to compliance, payroll accuracy, data integrity, and system performance
Establish and maintain project governance, metrics, and executive-level reporting to support informed decision-making
Continuously assess HRIS capabilities and recommend improvements that support evolving business needs and regulatory requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of progressive project management experience, with significant experience leading enterprise HRIS or Workday initiatives
Strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including module implementations, integrations, and platform optimization
Solid understanding of core HR, payroll, timekeeping, and job architecture concepts
Demonstrated success leading complex organizational change and driving adoption of new systems and processes
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and vendors in a highly matrixed environment

Preferred

Project management certification (PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent)
Experience building or executing multi-year HRIS or digital HR roadmaps
Prior experience managing third-party integrations and decommissioning legacy systems
Familiarity with HR compliance, audit readiness, and data governance practices
