Litigation Paralegal
Timoney Knox, LLP, a prominent Montgomery County PA law firm, is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation paralegal to join its dynamic Litigation group. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with Pennsylvania commercial, real estate and business litigation, as well as general civil litigation experience.

Responsibilities
Obtain, review and analyze documents, including court records, land records, and other documents relevant to the matter at hand
Draft documents such as notices, certificates, and subpoenas, required for attorney review
Research using physical law books, LexisNexis and other available sources
Calendar, monitor and follow-up regarding Court appearances, response dates, case management orders, confirmation of attorney coverage and ensure timely filings
Assist with case management compliance
Retain court reporters and schedule conference rooms for depositions
Receive, review and organize filings, correspondence, discovery and other documents
Assist attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
Assist with discovery review
Review and summarize deposition transcripts
Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
Finalize and file pleadings, motions and land documents
Assist attorneys with deposition and trial preparation by creating trial notebooks and exhibit binders and organizing witnesses and witness files
Enter time into billing system
Qualification
Required
Ability to reliably commute to Fort Washington, PA
Availability and willingness, for the needs of the law practice, to arrive early or stay late for the completion of client assignments or the meeting of court deadlines
At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal handling Pennsylvania Civil Litigation matters
Experience with both electronic and manual filing in Pennsylvania. Federal filing experience is a plus
Experience entering billable hours
Knowledge and understanding of Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel
Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple assignments independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced firm environment
Preferred
Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Pennsylvania Notary a plus
