Procom is seeking a Database Administrator II for a 12-month contract role. The Database Administrator II will be responsible for ensuring seamless database operations, maintaining high data availability, and implementing database policies and procedures.

Design, install, monitor, maintain, and performance tune production databases

Develop and oversee database policies and procedures

Coordinate work for medium-sized projects and supervise staff as needed

Implement, monitor, and reorganize database architectures

Analyze and resolve database system production problems

Participate in database design, data modeling, and user requirement analysis

Advise application programmers on database coding issues
