Research Scientist - Early Career

They are seeking a full-time Early Career Research Scientist responsible for evaluating, refining, and developing remote sensing algorithms, as well as optimizing algorithms and processing chains written in C++ for various use cases.

Responsibilities
Evaluating, refining, and developing remote sensing algorithms
Optimizing algorithms and processing chains written in C++ and enhance for various use cases
Performing simulation and analysis for remote sensing systems
Qualification
Required
Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field from an accredited institution
Proficiency in MatLab and another programming language
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance required for this role
Must be a US Citizen
Preferred
Proficient in C++ & Python
Experience with hardware acceleration technologies (e.g., GPUs, FPGAs)
Understanding of AI/ML algorithms and architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, transformers)
Experience in remote sensing
Experience with software version control such as GIT
Applied mathematics or algorithm development experience
Strong experience in software design and development
Active security clearance
