Process Engineer - Precision Tool Manufacturing

This role is ideal for experienced machinists looking to transition into engineering, focusing on developing work instructions, process flows, and collaborating with various managers to address technical issues.

Responsibilities
Develop work instructions to optimize fabrication of Build to Print precision components
Generates bill of materials and develops process flows to meet customer specifications
Interacts with Engineering Manager, Plant Management, and the Quality Manager for job related functions
Aids plant for technical issues related to processes and customer specifics
Qualification
Required
Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
3–5 years of machinist experience in a job shop or production environment
Solid understanding of CNC/manual machining (mills, lathes, grinders)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes, tolerances, and materials
Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
Experience with CAD Software (Kubotek, CATIA, Unigraphics)
Experience with Epicor ERP or similar systems
CNC Programming experience using CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360)
