They are seeking an Instrument Technician I who will be responsible for coordinating instrument needs between departments, ensuring proper cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments, and handling sterilization processes.

Responsibilities

Coordinate/communicate daily instrument needs with OR mission partners and team leaders
Competent in proper cleaning, sterilizing and inspecting of instrumentation
Proficient and responsible for all aspects of the Immediate Use Sterilization process
Handle Biologic Indicator testing as needed

Qualification

Sterile processing certificationInstrument cleaningSterilizingPrioritization skillsCommunication skillsBasic computer knowledge

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Excellent prioritization/organization skills
Basic knowledge reading computer printouts and working from task list

Preferred

Certification in sterile processing at the technician level or higher from an accredited organization
1 year experience in a Sterile Processing Department
