Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols
Assist visitors and employees with directions and basic information while maintaining a professional presence
Work collaboratively with local authorities and emergency responders when required by site protocols
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and/or observations during shifts as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Preferred
A guard card or license is preferred
