Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Alumni Office driver of communications and programming for recent graduates; strategize and execute College-directed activities and events focused on this key alumni cohort (e.g. the Purple Promise, the College's commitment to supporting young alumni and keeping them engaged after graduation)
Cultivate relationships with young alumni to understand their needs, interests, and concerns
Recruit, train and steward recent graduates and students for volunteer opportunities (e.g. HCAA Board of Directors, Regional Club leaders, Class Chairs, etc.)
Collaborate with Alumni Office colleagues and the Alumni Association Board of Directors on a broad range of alumni affinity, career development, and lifelong learning opportunities (e.g. HCAA GOLD+2 committee); partner with College departments, faculty, and staff to leverage resources in support of young alumni initiatives
Track engagement metrics and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of engagement efforts
Partner, as appropriate, with Advancement colleagues to help drive and increase young alumni and student engagement activity that aligns with divisional philanthropic priorities (e.g. Giving Day, Philanthropy Day, etc.)
Assist with Reunion Weekend planning and execution

Required

Bachelor's Degree required
2+ years of experience in higher education, non-profit organization or related field with a proven track record of event and volunteer management
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in social media and digital platforms
Ability to work independently and as part of the Advancement team, with a collaborative and inclusive approach
Ability to work some evenings and weekends as appropriate
Valid driver's license
