Responsibilities

Own client relationships and act as the primary point of contact

Deliver monthly financial reviews, close processes, and accurate financial reporting

Lead and review the work of 1–3 bookkeepers across AP/AR, reconciliations, and transaction processing

Manage month-end close, general ledger, and accrual-based accounting

Reconcile tax returns to financial records and resolve discrepancies

Drive service quality, timeliness, and budget adherence

Implement and manage cloud accounting tools and integrations

Identify process improvements and recommend technology to increase efficiency

Required

Preferred

3+ years experience leading bookkeepers or staff accountants

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms

Background in public accounting, consulting, or professional services

Strong accrual accounting expertise; experience across SMB, tech, e-commerce, or real estate a plus
