Summer Student Research Program (SSRP) Coordinator

Responsibilities
Assist in all aspects of the summer program marketing and student activities
Help market, recruit, interview, onboard, orient, track and evaluate students within the SSRP
Assist in clinic, laboratory, and research office placements at the relevant UCSF campuses
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
Minimum 1 year of related experience
Explains moderately complex concepts in a structured, logical, and clear manner, both verbally and in writing; follows up to ensure listener/reader understanding. Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Must be skilled in finding solutions to complex issues. Ability to develop new processes, work flow and best practices needed to improve current CHORI Student intern and volunteer practices
Must have effective problem solving skills through active problem identification and collaboration with Principal Investigators and staff. Successfully oversees the use of available resources to solve problems, and devises new approaches to processes
Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently or amongst a team
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, able to interact with others in a courteous manner while maintaining a professional manner with a high level of confidentiality
Proficient in ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes
