They are seeking a CNC Machinist III who will be responsible for tooling setup and machining new parts, ensuring quality and efficiency in production processes.

Responsibilities

Set-up and operate multiple CNC Machine Centers, machining of complex fiberglass products

Maintain a safety first and teamwork mindset

Aid the setting up and proving out of programs with CNC Programmer

Meet and sustain Certified Operator requirements

Support and manage the machine tooling to best achieve drawing tolerances, including offset adjustments and tool wear identification

Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to coordinate activities

Create shop aids and standard work instruction for process improvements

Participate in EHS risk reduction activities

Provide continuous improvement ideas to support lean and CORE initiatives

Use fixtures or gauges to verify accomplish dimensional checks

Required

Typically requires HS diploma or GED or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of 5 axis CNC machine center experience

Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

Preferred

Experience in Machine composite materials

Prior experience utilizing various measuring/inspection techniques

Self-directed, motivated, and able to work in a team environment
