Bhired is a fast-growing back-office team seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee financial reporting and accounting operations for multiple healthcare entities. The role focuses on managerial responsibilities, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and overseeing a team in a multi-entity healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Leading, supervising, and developing an accounting team responsible for financial reporting and close activities

Assigning work, setting deadlines, and ensuring completion of all accounting deliverables

Reviewing team-prepared reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, and supporting schedules

Serving as the primary point of accountability for reporting accuracy and timeliness

Overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across multiple entities

Ensuring accurate and timely OpCo and PropCo financial statements

Supporting preparation of SNF and ALF cost reports

Ensuring timely delivery of bank and lender reporting, including covenant compliance packages

Maintaining oversight of intercompany accounting, rent structures, and allocations

Establishing, documenting, and enforcing accounting policies and procedures

Identifying and implementing process improvements to strengthen controls and reporting efficiency

Ensuring compliance with GAAP, company policies, and healthcare regulatory standards

Partnering with senior leadership on financial reviews, audits, and special projects

Providing guidance, escalation support, and technical oversight to the accounting team
