Desktop Support / Field Technician

MCPC is seeking an experienced Onsite Endpoint Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for endpoint devices at their Burton, Ohio location. The role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, as well as ensuring compliance with company security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications
Assist with network connectivity and printer setup
Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures
Document all support activities and maintain accurate records
Travel to Akron and Barberton locations as needed for onsite support

Qualification

Windows OSEndpoint supportNetworking conceptsProblem-solvingCommunication skills

Required

Proven experience in endpoint support or IT helpdesk roles
Strong knowledge of Windows OS and common business applications
Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliable transportation for travel between Burton, Akron, and Barberton
