Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or analytics
Proven leadership of Data Engineering Teams in enterprise environments
Expertise in SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric
Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or Cassandra
Hands on Python and PySpark experience
Strong knowledge of data quality practices, profiling, validation, and monitoring
Proficiency in Power BI dashboard development and enterprise reporting
Deep understanding of Azure cloud services, data security, and governance
Knowledge of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI integration
Leadership skills while having the ability to remain hands on development
Preferred
Experience with Generative AI tools and integrating AI into data insights
Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Databricks Certified Data Engineer, or Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
Familiarity with unstructured data sources and data modeling best practices
Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to executive audiences
Master's degree in a relevant discipline is a plus
5-7 years of relevant professional experience in data architecture or engineering
Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale data projects and teams
