Start in 2026 SummerHarvey & Company LLC is a buyside acquisition search and principal investment firm founded in 1998. They are seeking a Research Intern to assist in deal-generation efforts by identifying and researching potential acquisition candidates for private equity and corporate clients.

Responsibilities
Assist an industry-specific team in deal-generation efforts
Identify, research, and profile potential acquisition candidates and/or Fortune 500 CEOs for private equity and corporate clients
Utilize licensed AI-driven programs and technology to aid research efforts
Exposed to qualitative research methods through additional online databases, the internet, industry association company lists, and proprietary database to help identify privately held businesses for acquisition strategies
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be currently enrolled as students at a 4-year college or University
Strong communication skills
Proven work ethic
Demonstrated attention to detail
Reliability, responsibility, and pride in workmanship are necessities
Curiosity into finance, M&A, and private equity is a must
Preferred
In-office schedules only for summer
Ideal candidates will be intelligent, hardworking, professional, entrepreneurial, and eager to learn about private equity, corporate buyouts, and related fields of finance
