Production Test Engineer II - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and providing accurate rework instructions for the product hardware
Creating and maintaining spares and the test equipment obsolescence plan
Creating of Basis of Estimates (BOE) to estimate costs to add additional capacity, new capabilities and equipment obsolescence
Leading projects to reduce test time and improve the test process through analysis of predictive metrics of trends, failure mode, and test yields
Developing test flows and contributing to test capacity analysis
Maintaining changes to the test equipment technical data package which includes drawings, test instructions, test position manuals and system software
Assisting in non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis and repair of the product or test equipment
Leading root cause and corrective action investigations and present findings, utilizing fault trees and knowledge point plans
Performing risk assessments and supporting the programs risk register reviews
Leading projects with responsibility for execution

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
Experience working in a manufacturing production environment
Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF)
Ability to obtain interim Secret U.S government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Preferred

Experience with hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and develop sustaining solutions to routine technical problems
Ability to lead and mentor newer PTE's
Experience with interpretation of technical documentation
Experience with project execution
Experience with data analysis
