Responsibilities

Wealth Advisor Interns participate in a 10-week paid program with the following learning objectives:
Gaining a comprehensive overview of the wealth management industry
Having an opportunity to experience the various roles that exist within a successful RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) firm including financial planning advisor; portfolio manager; and operations
Being provided the ability to develop and practice the skills needed to be a successful team member
Gaining the knowledge to help the intern choose the best fit career track for their goals
Delivering Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients
Interns will participate in a capstone project to conclude the internship, having the opportunity to present on a topic to the firm's leadership team
The summer internship will consist of participants from across the firm's geographical footprint. The intern participants will be paired with a program sponsor in their local market

Required

Intern candidates must be working toward a financial planning degree and CPA/CFP exam eligibility
Solid technical financial or accounting knowledge
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Effective time management
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well with a team as well as independently
Problem-solving attitude
Willingness to take initiative
Close attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines

Preferred

GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)
