Responsibilities
Design women’s handbags across multiple silhouettes including totes, crossbody, shoulder bags, mini bags, and clutches
Develop seasonal concepts, color stories, materials, trims, and hardware
Create detailed sketches, tech packs, and design specifications
Research global trends in fashion, luxury, streetwear, and accessories
Collaborate closely with product development, sourcing, and production teams
Review samples and oversee revisions from concept to final approval
Ensure designs align with target price points, margins, and timelines
Work with factories to select materials, leathers, fabrics, and hardware
Maintain a consistent yet evolving design language across collections
Qualification
Required
3 plus years of experience designing women's handbags or accessories
Strong portfolio showcasing handbag design and construction knowledge
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and hand sketching
Strong understanding of materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes
Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability
Highly organized and detail oriented
Passion for fashion, design, and women's accessories
Preferred
Experience with premium or luxury handbags
Knowledge of global manufacturing and sourcing
Experience designing for both fashion and lifestyle brands
