Responsibilities
Design and prototype user experiences of varying complexity using Figma, with a strong understanding of when and how to apply design system components effectively
Plan and support discovery activities, including mapping user flows, journeys, and identifying research opportunities
Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and governance of design systems and component libraries
Manage and balance multiple projects of varying scope, adjusting effort and timelines as needed
Explore and propose multiple UX solutions to address user and business challenges
Take initiative in driving work forward, maintaining open communication, and escalating risks or issues when appropriate
Anticipate potential challenges and proactively develop UX-focused solutions
Communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional partners, fostering strong collaborative relationships
Think strategically across problem spaces and apply UX solutions appropriately
Operate as a strong independent contributor, requiring minimal supervision on routine work and general direction on new initiatives
Deliver thoughtful, polished work with strong attention to detail, ensuring consistency across user journeys
Promote UX best practices, design system guidance, and high-quality production deliverables
Advocate across functions to drive accountability, realign priorities when necessary, and proactively identify opportunities to improve the user experience
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, human-computer interaction, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. An advanced degree is a plus
6+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong focus on interactive and visual design
Demonstrated experience working with design systems and component-based design
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical partners
6+ years of experience in UX design with an emphasis on interactive and visual design
Strong independent contributor with effective time and priority management skills
Figma

Experience planning and mapping user flows and journeys
Experience identifying and supporting research opportunities
Experience working in regulated environments such as fintech, financial services, healthcare, SaaS, or insurance
Figma Make (AI functionality within Figma)
