Responsibilities
Review customer part requirements to determine fixturing, cutting tools, grinding wheels, and process for standard and turnkey projects
Conduct factory/customer site process acceptance and training both in-house and at offsite facilities
Perform machine demonstrations, time studies, feasibility studies, and evaluate/process sample parts in support of sales
Provide Trade Show and Open House application support
Assist in prototype machine PLC and option testing of mechanical and control software functions
Provide technical phone support for customers, salespersons, and distributors
Attend training seminars and courses to stay current with technology
Qualification
Required
Associates Degree in Engineering or Technical Certification Program preferred
5-7 years of CNC machine tool experience focused on grinding and turning applications
Working knowledge of Siemens, Fanuc, and Mitsubishi controls
Experience in G code and conversational programming
Experience in CAD / CAM CNC Programming
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SolidWorks
Has ability to work well in a cross functional setting
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to represent Kellenberger in a professional manner
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and can lift 35 lbs
Preferred
Will consider non-degreed applicants with relevant job experience
Previous experience interacting with customers is preferred
JD Edwards or similar ERP experience is beneficial
