Optimize search relevance using semantic and lexical techniques
Design and tune ranking algorithms to improve results

Use experimentation and A/B testing to validate improvements
Build frameworks for offline evaluation and quick iteration
Act as a technical leader, mentoring others and influencing system design
Qualification
Required
5 years of professional software development experience with a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience
5 years of experience with Object Oriented Software to include Java, Kotlin, or Python
1 year of experience with Elasticsearch, Apache Solr, OpenSearch, or other search engines or vector databases
Preferred
7 years of relevant professional experience
3 years of experience with search engines or vector databases
