2+ years expRed Cap Plumbing, Air & Electric is seeking a reliable and bright Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. The AP specialist will process all invoices received for payment and undertake payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

Responsibilities
Create and review purchase orders
Review vendor invoices for accuracy
Charge expenses to accounts and departments after analyzing vendor invoices
Vendor invoice entry and heavy data entry
Review and process credit memos
Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and to invoices
Assist controller with check runs
Preparer and mail vendor checks
Contact vendors for additional information and to resolve discrepancies
Assist with streamlining the accounts payable processes
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of previous AP experience with basic accounting principles knowledge
Must be able to work effectively and with a positive attitude in a high paced environment
Must be able to communicate clearly with vendors/employees and have an outgoing phone personality
