Financial Analyst

They are seeking a Financial Analyst to support the analysis, development, tracking, and adjustment of budget formulations and financial plans for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The role involves analyzing program budgets, preparing reports, and managing financial transactions to maintain expenditure controls.

Responsibilities

Analyze program budgets and accounts; report results to maintain expenditure controls
Assign and/or adjust fiscal allocations, monitor budget execution, prepare budgets, and budget reports, and make recommendations on funding requests
Verify that budget adjustments are made in accordance with program changes
Process and track ongoing financial transactions in DELPHI, PRISM, and REGIS to manage procurement actions, execution of the budget, report program performance, and maintain cuff records to enable early adjustments and risk identification
Leverage program and finance skills across the range of budget formulation, budget execution, and capital investment planning (CIP) functions for a Facilities & Equipment (F&E) and Operations (OPS) funded program
Initiate Purchase Requests (PR) and Purchase Authorizations (PA) using PRISM and Corporate Work Plan Toolset (CWP)

Required

Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or finance, procurement and contracting, or related field
10+ years' experience in financial analysis
FAA financial management systems experience required
Be knowledgeable with FAA budget formulation documentation and support the program's budget advocacy process including pre-briefings and presentations directives, and criteria while designing procedures, system requirements and evaluations
Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation, and project management skills, written and oral communication skills and analytical skills
