Responsibilities

Perform computer-aided drafting and design of life safety and security systems for advanced facilities
Create a 3D model space in coordination with architects and engineers using AutoCAD and Revit MEP
Assist the designers with layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, Security and Intrusion detection systems

Qualification

AutoCADFire Alarm SystemsNICET Level II certificationRevitNFPA codesMulti-taskingCollaborationOrganizational skills

Required

High school graduate or equivalent
At least 10 years of AutoCAD design experience
Systems design experience with Fire Alarm Systems, Voice Evacuation, Gas Detection, VESDA, Access Control, CCTV
NICET Level II certification

Preferred

3-5 years of Revit design experience
Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code
Knowledge of Fire/Life Safety systems and manufacturer's equipment
Industrial design experience
NICET Level III certification (or the ability to obtain this certification within one year of hire)
