Operations Manager - Separation Management Plan (Onsite)

They are seeking a proactive Operations Manager to support the execution of critical site-level activities within the Separation Management Plan, focusing on training coordination, buffer stock management, and supply chain data activities.

Responsibilities
Support execution of site-level SMP transition tasks related to buffer stock, training, and process readiness under the direction of the Site SMP Transition Lead
Coordinate and track training plans for impacted personnel and receiving teams, ensuring timely execution and documentation of all required learning activities
Manage the creation, tracking, and reporting of buffer stock in alignment with the buffer stock plan, including coordination with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams
Assist in gathering, analyzing, and validating data required for Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes, including demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels
Partner with supply chain planners and SIOP leads to align transition timelines with supply chain strategies
Coordinate and execute the classification and export of documentation as required to receiving team
Maintain detailed trackers and dashboards for training completion, buffer stock status, and document readiness; provide regular status updates to the Site SMP Transition Lead
Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure all required process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions are prepared, reviewed, and transitioned
Identify and escalate risks or delays related to training and inventory execution to enable timely resolution and maintain program continuity
Provide logistical and administrative support for transition-related meetings, reviews, and audits
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with documentation standards throughout all activities
Participate in site readiness assessments and reviews as needed
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a University degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
Preferred
Experience with SIOP, transition planning, or divestitures is a strong plus
Degree in supply chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
Working experience with inventory management, demand planning, and basic supply chain principles
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and planning tools; Excel proficiency required
Experience in coordinating cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
Working ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights
