Director, Global Reliability & Quality
Celestica is seeking a visionary leader for the role of Director of Global Reliability & Quality in their High-Performance Solutions segment. This role focuses on defining reliability strategies for complex product lifecycles and ensuring product integrity through strategic vision, technical innovation, and cultural leadership.

Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of the Global Total Quality strategy across regional sites, aligning local execution with global business objectives
Establish a "command center" of quality metrics for predictive trend analysis and benchmarking
Partner cross-functionally with SCM, Legal, Finance, and Warranty teams to quantify and neutralize reliability risks
Drive the use of Monte Carlo simulations and Physics of Failure (PoF) to predict the lifespan of complex electronic assemblies and motor drives
Utilize Weibull growth models to analyze previous-generation performance for future reliability gains
Lead DFMEAs and apply rigorous de-rating calculations to ensure robust designs from prototype to deployment
Cultivate a high-performance culture where "Audit Ready" is a mindset, ensuring compliance with international regulatory standards
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for 8D methodology and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), coaching quality engineers and manufacturing leaders
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, translating technical reliability data into actionable business insights
Qualification
Required
10–14 years of experience in Quality Management, with a deep background in Design, Supplier Quality, and Reliability
Proficient in ReliaSoft Tools (Weibull++, ALTA Pro, BlockSim) and possess a master's level understanding of statistics and probability
5+ years managing international audits and navigating the complexities of global regulatory environments
Ability to translate high-level reliability models into compelling presentations for executive leadership and global customers
Occasional travel (overnight) to global sites
Comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment where you may occasionally be exposed to the sights and sounds of cutting-edge production (noise, machinery, etc.)
Preferred
A Master's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, or Reliability Engineering is preferred
Certifications such as ASQ, CQA, or ISO/RABSQA are a significant plus
