Participate in data audits, reporting, and documentation cleanup projects as needed
Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements at all times
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–3 years of experience as a typist, data entry clerk, medical documentation assistant, or similar role
Excellent typing accuracy with a minimum of 55 wpm
Ability to work efficiently and independently in a remote setting
Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
Clear communication skills and strong time-management capabilities
Preferred
Further education preferred
Familiarity with EMR systems, medical terminology, and digital filing practices is a plus
