Responsibilities
Develop and manage a pipeline of commercial prospects through networking, referrals, and lead sources
Identify client risks, assess needs, and deliver tailored insurance solutions
Prepare proposals, present recommendations, and close new business opportunities
Cross-sell additional lines of coverage and identify account-rounding opportunities
Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure clients maintain appropriate coverage
Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive terms and pricing
Build strong, long-term client relationships based on trust and service excellence
Partner with account managers and support staff to ensure seamless service and retention
Qualification
Required
Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty License (required)
Proven track record of generating new business and meeting sales goals
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the drive to build a profitable book of business
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems
Preferred
Previous experience in commercial lines insurance sales strongly preferred
