Responsibilities

Support purchasing and supply chain activities to ensure production runs smoothly

Source, negotiate, and purchase materials for production

Evaluate supplier quotes and provide input on supplier selection

Provide input on contracts and agreements in alignment with quality, cost, and delivery requirements

Process and manage purchase orders and obtain supplier confirmations

Maintain accurate ERP system updates

Plan, track, and expedite materials as needed

Investigate inventory discrepancies, receiving issues, invoice mismatches, purchase price variances, and delivery delays that may impact production schedules

Support purchasing new, current, and replacement components and assist in managing inventory levels in collaboration with other departments

Support Supplier Quality Management and assist in executing supply chain initiatives

Utilize established reporting and keep internal teams informed of supplier performance
